Fox Ryan’s oil paintings and drawings have been featured in numerous publications including Manhattan Arts International, American Artist Drawing Magazine, Art Calendar Magazine and The South Magazine. A 2004 recipient of the Arthur C Green award, Fox has been a guest speaker at the School of Visual Arts in New York, Ringling College of Art, University of North Carolina Charlotte, University of Alabama and an instructor for the University of Virginia’s summer art program in 2006. In the past six years Fox Ryan, among many exhibitions, began working with an international artists representative. Just a sampled collector base includes patrons in Europe, New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago and Atlanta. Gallery Affiliations have include Church Street Gallery in Philadelphia and Two CarGarage Contemporary Art Gallery in Georgia. Fox Ryan has exhibited in Lisbon Portugal with 9 Arte Galleria. A native of Charlottesville, Virginia, Fox Ryan made way to Savannah, Georgia, to study illustration at the Savannah College of Art and Design. Since obtaining a degree Fox has created a bold commentary in oil paint and charcoal on the effects of power and industry on the individual, society and the environment. Fox Ryan Studio is now located in the historic Old City of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
