Benjamin C. Stanley was born and raised in Naples, Florida where he grew up spending his time in and around the ocean and with a family who always encouraged his penchant for drawing. Working in a variety of mediums, his work stems from a multitude of influences and often echoes of a nostalgia for bygone eras and places. He was educated at the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, GA, where he now lives and works. His work has been exhibited in galleries and museums across the nation, including shows in Atlanta, Chicago, Cincinnati and New York City.
