Carla-Mae Crookendale lives and designs jewelry in Savannah, Ga. She received an M.F.A. in fashion and a B.F.A. in metals and jewelry from SCAD, where she currently teaches part-time in the metals and jewelry department.rn”Adara is a Greek name meaning beauty. For me, it is the ultimate source of beautiful inspiration in intricate, well-designed form; a vibrant environment where rhythmic movement, meditative sounds, wonderful textures and flowing lines help restore internal balance and reaffirm the spirit.
