Christine Sajecki received a B.F.A. in painting with a minor in poetry from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2001. She resides and works in Baltimore’s historic Copycat building. Her paintings and drawings focus on the human figure, inspired by moments of tension, beauty and oddity. She works with a range of mediums from encaustic (melted, pigmented beeswax) to chalkboard paint, charcoal, and graphite. Her work has been included in many juried and solo exhibitions along the East Coast and Washington state. She has been a guest lecturer and teacher at the Clayton State University in Georgia and at the Greenbelt Community Center in Maryland.
