After graduating from SCAD with a B.F.A. in photography, Christine Van Duyn packed up and moved to Chicago with her dog, Frances, and her now husband. She started her career in a custom black-and-white printing studio where she spent her days enjoying the smell of photo chemicals. After a series of relatively random events, she found herself working for a custom invitation studio and loving every minute of it. She has since departed the studio, and Chicago, to start her own business on the central coast of California. She now fills her minutes and hours with design projects ranging from custom wedding invitations to her small line of ready-made cards. rnrnIn the evening after the computer screen goes black, Van Duyn enjoys cooking, reading, walking, yoga and sitting down for dinner. She also has wild dreams of one day opening a bakery.
