I grew up 2 miles from NAS: Pensacola, where the Blues served as my wake-up call. Fast-forward a decade and a half to April 2006 when I completed my B.A. in advertising at Florida State University (go noles). Shortly after, I hopped into graduate school at The Savannah College of Art and Design and finished up in March of 2008.rnrnA taste of my work— My most recent project, “More Than Just a Color,” combines words and visuals to form a single thought by using paint chips (you know, those colored squares that you find years later at the bottom of your purse or buried under the seat of your car). With these colors, I make verbal and visual connections to different shades of paint. Aside from packing my own purse with paint chips from various hardware stores around town, I also design stationery and dabble in photography.rnrnI am living in Lakewood, Ohio, with a goofy lab named Gann.”
