Jewelry designer Heather Wynn begins every composition hoping that it will bring someone joy. Wynn creates highly personal and heartfelt works of art including necklaces, bracelets and earrings–all of which reflect her appreciation and connection with the natural world. She uses organic hues of sea green, ocean blue, and sepia-toned Czech glass, faceted chalcedony, Peruvian blue opals, vintage beads, and jade. Each piece is thoughtfully embellished with objects such as hand-painted Russian mother-of-pearl baubles, shells, trinkets or hand-stamped and turned sterling silver pendants with messages like "Love Bravely." Wynn also creates original clay pendants aged with natural patinas and inscribed with text or laden with images of vintage bird illustrations. Her closures are always a special detail — a sterling bird or charming seahorse. Wynn graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2000 with a B.F.A. in Graphic Design and has completed a year in pursuit of an M.F.A. in metals and jewelry. Wynn is a proud new mother of a sweet little boy named Henry. They currently play and create together on the Gulf Coast of Florida with lots of the family, friends and animals they love nearby. "I consider myself to be a kind and genuine artist. I find beauty in pretty much everything under the sun. I am a hopeful romantic who is absurdly optimistic. I adore all things tiny and precious and travel quite a bit in search of wonderful new treasures to incorporate into my work. My son is always in tow and he is my shining inspiration. I feel truly blessed in life and seek to create jewelry that encourages others to feel the same." — Heather Wynn
