Fibers alumna Jamila Tazewell lives and works in Los Angeles. She operates her own design company, 11:11, which focuses on creating a wide range of practical yet playful accessories. She describes the creation of her label as a means to express her ideas through the exploration of found imagery, form and function. Tazewell’s love of meaningful adornment mixes with her love of pure aesthetic to create these utilitarian works of art.
