JenMarie Zeleznak was born in 1984 in Cleveland, Ohio and is a 2009 graduate of the Cleveland Institute of Art’s 5 year BFA Painting program. She is currently attending Savannah College of Art and Design, working on her MFA in Painting in Savannah, Georgia. She has exhibited works at the Pop Shop Gallery, Vision Art Gallery, the Art Gallery at Cleveland State University, Spaces Gallery, as well as the Reinberger Gallery and the Coffee House Gallery at CIA over the last 5 years. JenMarie’s first solo exhibition was in 2008 at the Wooltex Gallery in Cleveland titled, “Sentiment, Apathy, or Somewhere In Between”. In the late summer of 2009, JenMarie co-coordinated an art auction benefit for the Public Animal Welfare Society of Cleveland at the Museum of Contemporary Art, which raised over $5,000 for animal welfare through the arts.
