Jennifer Hallsey was born and raised in central Maine. She attended the Savannah College of Art and Design, where she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in painting and art history. In 2002 she studied painting and drawing abroad at the École des Arts in Lacoste, France. She is a classically trained painter and has had her jewelry described as “wearable paintings of gemstones.” Her color palate and designs are unique to a person with the eye and keen sense of an artist.
