Jennifer Cervelli grew up in a small town near Philadelphia, and she has been creating art her whole life. She fell in love with metalsmithing while attending the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Georgia. The beauty of the South inspired many of her first designs, and throughout her many travels she draws inspiration for her jewelry lines. Art is meant to initiate thought and emotion. Jewelry is an object of beautiful adornment but also an object of deeper meaning and emotion; jewelry can be powerful. Jennifer Cervelli Jewelry is meant to make the wearer connect to the artwork. She is inspired by this connection; the individual feels empowered because the artwork encompasses them, giving them a feeling of grandeur. As a jewelry artist, Jennifer creates jewelry that makes the wearer feel its power as their own. After graduating from SCAD in 2007, she worked for a few designers in the Bay Area, California before moving to Colorado to start focusing solely on her own jewelry line. Each piece is individually hand-crafted in Fort Collins, Colorado, where Jennifer currently resides. Using all recycled metals and conflict-free gems, the jewelry forms a unique relationship between the earth’s designs, its resources, and its inhabitants.
