A native of St. Louis, Mo., Kate Bethel began making soaps as table favors for her 2005 wedding. They were such a big hit amongst her guests that she decided to begin her business. She now makes bath and body products and sells them in local boutiques around St. Louis and in Georgia. She specializes in using natural ingredients and high-end fragrances. In addition to her up-and-coming body product venture called Tub Couture, Bethel also is a graphic designer for St. Louis County government, the World Trade Center – Saint Louis, and owns her own freelance design company, Kate Bethel Designs.
