"I have always enjoyed making things. Throughout myrnlife, my family has encouraged my involvement in art.rnMy mother taught me to sew when I was very young, andrnput me in art classes at the age of 9. After graduating from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2002 with a B.F.A. in painting, I worked as a faux finisher until the end of 2005.
