“I am an alumnus of SCAD, graduated in 2000 with a BFA in painting. Since then I have lived on the East Coast. During my journey I had the pleasure of learning the process of making oil paint.rnrnIn 2005, I started a small family-based business, Occhuzzie Paint Company. We specialize in hand-made, high-quality, professional artist oil paint. rnrnWhen not making paint, there is no greater feeling than painting with my own paint that I myself have created. Knowing it is the highest quality product that I could ever use goes beyond success for me. We use only the finest pigments and highest quality linseed/safflower oils available. Each batch is made in small quantities to ensure extra care and personal inspection. We are proud to say that Occhuzzie Paint is the modern equivalent to hand-made old masters oil paint. We pride ourselves in giving artists’ a product that will meet their specific needs, so that they may focus on what they love most, painting. I also have had much success in showing my paintings in local art venues/galleries, along side of my loyal Occhuzzie customers.rnrnI now reside in Charlotte, N.C., with my wife and three children. This is and will always be a family-based business. My hopes at this point are that the company will be passed on for generations to come.”
