Throughout his career artist Nathan Larimer (b. 1983 Ohio, USA) has photographed the relationship between humanity and nature. Through the use of a camera, he is seeking to understand how we interact with and value our environment for sustenance, sport and recreation, and even communication and ritual. A dedicated outdoorsman, he was raised in the Mid-West, went to college in the Deep South, and spends his summers wading and paddling western rivers. Currently an MFA Candidate at the Savannah College of Art and Design, Nathan creates personal work which is exhibited in galleries nationwide as well as select commissioned projects. Going forward, he hopes to have a fruitful career as an educator, thinker, and translator of any glimmer of beauty he is fortunate enough to capture.
