Paige Cox grew up in Asheboro, NC. After graduating from the Savannah College of Art and Design with a B.F.A. in fibers she went back to North Carolina and worked in the apparel industry. In 2000, she began making her own work and created her business, Lulugroove. Her work can be seen in many North Carolina galleries and boutiques. When not traveling to shows or teaching workshops, she creates recycled fashions and accessories out of vintage clothing.rnHer work is about color, laughing and texture. Cox uses her sense of humor and a lot of wool to create pieces that seem to find their owners. “I’ve been lucky enough to be able to do what I love every day. I enjoy doing shows and meeting new people.”
