Can I place an order over the phone?
Sure. Call 912.525.5180 during our shop hours, which are: Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Eastern time; Saturday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Sunday 12 noon to 5 p.m.
How do I know if you received my online order?
You will receive an email order confirmation. Check your spam folder, and if it’s not there, call 912.525.5180 or email us (shopSCAD@scad.edu) to make sure your order was received. If there is a problem processing your order once we receive it, a shopSCAD representative will contact you.
My online order was interrupted. Was my data saved?
Nothing is saved until “submit order” is selected.
How can I check on the status of my order?
Call 912.525.5180 or email shopSCAD (shopSCAD@scad.edu) for tracking information.
What if I need to make changes to an order I recently placed?
Email us (shopSCAD@scad.edu) to make changes and make sure the email includes your name and order number. You can also call us at 912.525.5180.
Will I be notified if items in my order are not in stock or available?
We do our best to keep shopSCAD.com current, but sometimes an item may no longer available. If there is a problem processing your order, a shopSCAD representative will contact you.
How long does it take to receive my order?
ShopSCAD ships most packages through FedEx; typically you can expect your package to arrive within 6-10 business days depending on your location. Processing time is 48 hours and the shipping department is closed on the weekends. Orders received after 12 p.m. Eastern will be processed the next business day. Expedited shipping is available. Call us at 912.525.5180 and we’ll get your package to you as soon as possible. International shipping is available; email shopSCAD@scad.edu or call 912.525.5180 for a quote. International shipping cannot be expedited and can take up to two weeks.
How can I cancel an order?
Email shopSCAD@scad.edu or call 912.525.6304. Make sure email includes a name, phone number, order number and date of purchase. We may ask you to verify your credit card number over the phone. Orders may not be cancelled after two business days, as the order will have shipped.
What if I am having trouble ordering from your site?

What should I do if I get a technical error message?
Contact us and we will contact our webmaster. Until the error is resolved you may place an order by email (shopSCAD@scad.edu) or by phone at 912.525.5180.
How much are your shipping rates?
Shipping rates depend on the dimension and weight of the package. Since our products are unique and vary in size, please email shopSCAD (shopSCAD@scad.edu) to inquire about shipping costs.
Can I opt for signature delivery?
Yes. We recommend in-person delivery for fine art and other high value purchases. Please leave a comment in the Order Notes section at checkout.
Will packages be delivered without my signature?
Yes. Please give instructions in the comments section of your order if you would like FedEx to leave your packages with a neighbor or somewhere specific.
Can I have an order shipped to a P.O. box?
FedEx ships most of our packages and does not deliver to post office boxes. If you do not have a street address for your order, email shopSCAD@scad.edu or call 912.525.5180 to make other shipping arrangements.
Do you charge shipping for gift certificates?
Can I place my order today but have shipping delayed?
Yes. Leave a note in the Order Notes section with your request.
Help! I gave you an incorrect address. How can I change the delivery address?
Send a follow-up email (shopSCAD@scad.edu) to change the order address.
Can I enter different billing and shipping addresses? What about shipping to multiple addresses?
Yes. There are separate fields for the billing address and shipping address. If the purchase is being shipped as a gift, please let us know in the Order Notes section.
What if I don’t like something and want to return it?
All items (other than fine art) may be returned within 30 days for a refund of the purchase price. Shipping charges are not refunded. Fine art sales are final. Please e-mail shopSCAD@scad.edu or call 912.525.5180 with questions about the work available online. Many times we can provide additional images and more detailed information than what is included on the website. We want you to find the perfect piece and be happy with it for many years to come.
What if my item is damaged or breaks in transit?
ShopSCAD carefully packages all orders, and they are insured for their full value. We will gladly accept returns of any items damaged or broken in transit. We will refund your purchase price or send a replacement as soon as possible.
My order was incorrect. How do I get a refund or replacement?
Despite our best efforts to carefully package each shipment, an incorrect item occasionally will be shipped. Please let us know by email (shopSCAD@scad.edu) or phone at 912.525.5180.
I lost an earring that I purchased from shopSCAD. Can another one be made?
If the artist still has the materials, we will make it happen. We have done this many times for heartbroken customers who contact us when they’ve lost an earring. Please email shopSCAD@scad.edu an image and description. We will charge you the artist’s replacement cost of one piece plus shipping costs.
Does shopSCAD repair jewelry?
What payment options are available?
Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express are accepted online. We accept personal and traveler’s checks, money orders and SCAD Cash in our shops. Gift certificates are redeemable online or in the shops.
Does shopSCAD offer layaway?
We offer layaway to our customers as a way to acquire a much-loved piece that seems out of reach. We offer this option in-store, but if you are not near one of our shops and would like to have this option, call 912.525.5180. Here are the terms of the deal: a nonrefundable deposit of 20 percent of the total purchase price is required for layaway purchases. The layaway must be paid in full within six to 12 months. There are no returns or exchanges accepted on layaway purchases. The item on layaway remains in the shop storage until it is paid for in full.
What is this charge on my statement?

Will I be charged sales tax?

Does the price displayed include tax?
No. The retail price online or in the shops does not include tax or shipping charges.
How can I purchase a gift certificate?
You can purchase a gift certificate online or by calling 912.525.5180. We offer gift certificates in any amount and offer free shipping.
Can I redeem part of my gift certificate and retain the balance to be used on a future order?
Do you offer complimentary gift wrapping?
Yes. We will wrap all gift purchases using natural boxes accentuated with pretty ribbon and a shopSCAD sticker. We also offer traditional wrapping paper with a contrasting ribbon.
Can I write a personal message to be included in a gift purchase?
Of course! Please fill in the Order Notes section that offers the option for a personal message. This message will be placed on a card and included with your gift.
I am looking for a specific item not shown on your online shop. Can you help me find it?

How do I submit a product idea to shopSCAD?

Can products be customized?
Yes, some of them can. If a product can be customized, it will be identified as such online in the item description. If the description does not indicate that it may be customized and you and think it should be, email shopSCAD@scad.edu us and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
Are all of your artists affiliated with the Savannah College of Art and Design?
Yes, all artists represented at shopSCAD are staff, students, alumni and faculty of the Savannah College of Art and Design. Atlanta College of Art and Lacoste School of the Arts alumni are considered part of the SCAD community and their work is also featured in shopSCAD.
May I contact artists represented on your site?
ShopSCAD does not release artist contact information, but we are happy to work with the artists on your behalf for special requests or commissions.
I have a store and would like to carry some shopSCAD items. How can I order wholesale?
ShopSCAD does not offer wholesale prices on the art and designs it features online or in the shops.

How secure is the ordering process?
We work to protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts information you provide to us for purchasing of our products or services. We reveal only the last five digits of your credit card numbers when confirming an order. It is important for you to protect against unauthorized access to your password and to your computer. Be sure to sign off when finished using a shared computer.
Yes. They enable our systems to recognize your browser and to provide features such as storage of items in your Shopping Cart between visits.
Will my personal data be passed on to third parties?
